IGP is an official quality label recognised throughout the EU. It is a pledge of quality that raises the product profile and increases consumer awareness.

From the consumer’s point of view, the IGP designation means much more than just where a product comes from. It stands for:

  • a specific quality or expertise that is directly attributable to a geographic origin
  • a product’s ongoing quality
  • a permanent typical taste or aroma
  • grapes of certified origin
  • strict inspections both upstream and down

Our wines have been awarded the designation Indication Géographique Protégée (Protected Geographical Indication).
Official recognition of our knowledge and expertise with an EU quality label.

European regulations have converted our vins de pays wines to IGP status (Indication Géographique Protégée/Protected Geographical Indication), an official quality label in the same vein as AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protégée/Protected Designation of Origin).

The IGP label, which is managed by the INAO (Institut National de l’Origine et de la qualité/National Institute of Appellations of Origin for Wines and Spirits ), protects our designations and raises the profile of our products, guaranteeing that their particular qualities come from the specific region, territory and tradition that produced them…without in any way hampering our capacity to innovate and take initiatives in terms of grape varieties, organoleptic qualities or vinification processes.
